L'altra parte della storia dell'ammutinamento del Bounty

Nel post precedente avevo diviso con i miei quattro lettori la meraviglia della sconsiderata dimora dei discendenti degli ammutinati del Bounty nell'isola di Pitcairn. Sulla mia pagina di FB, Pietro mi commenta consigliandomi di integrarlo con la storia degli altri ammutinati e dei non-ammutinati, rimasti a Thaiti. Lo ringrazio ma non lo farò.

Non lo farò perchè è una storia di tanti morti e di violenza per poter trovare e punire quei nove che se ne stavano sparapanzati a Pitcairn.

E la mia simpatia va, incommensurabile, a quei coraggiosi che riuscirono a dare un calcio a tutto e vivere come potevano, in terra incognita, con le loro mani e la loro voglia di non subire gli ordini di un capitano infame.  Bligh, il suo nome.

E da notare che il loro ammutinamento non versò una goccia di sangue. Semplicemente si dissociarono dalla Marina di Sua Maestà Britannica. Degli esempi, rari.
