Vi renderò partecipi dei miei esperimenti e , quando possibile, metterò anche fototestimonianze!

Parlando di cibo, ho pranzato in Acqua & Farina, rinomato nelle nostre zone per avere un mulino di macinazione propria e fare una pizza integrale buonissima...confermo la nomina, ho mangiato una pizza squisita, sottilissima e soffice solo nei punti giusti.
Da brava golosa l'ho presa con pochissima mozzarella, crema di zucca e radicchio...da leccarsi i baffi!!!
Ora vado a spulciare la stagionalità di frutta e verdura perchè devo compilare la lista della spesa in attesa che passi a prendermi il Lupo Rosso Sangue.

Friend's Mothers Feet

la tzatziki tanto amata mi riporta all'altrettanto amata Creta...


Anche se non è ancora esattamente estate, non ho saputo resistere alla tentazione di prepararmi un piatto estremamente fresco, estivo nonchè sinonimo -per me- di vacanze : la tzatziki!!!
In realtà è nato tutto per colpa di uno yogurt iniziato ieri e non finito stamattina, non ero sicura che domani sarebbe stato ancora commestibile e, visto che aglio, cetriolo e menta non mancavano, ho ben pensato di dare una botta di vita al mio sistema cardiovascolare con un bel pò di aglio!

La tzatziki è una crema molto molto fresca che si consuma nei pasti greci, personalente l'ho gustata in svariati piatti a Creta.
Nelle pitte (sorta di kebap), sulla carne alla griglia, con il pane tipico, sui creacker come antipasto, sui cetrioli, con le olive nere, con le verdure crude...insomma mi è piaciuta in tutti i modi!

All you need: 500 gr

about yogurt-best If bio-
a nice big cucumber
3 or 4 cloves of garlic
6 beautiful fresh mint leaves

1 tablespoon oil 1 tablespoon vinegar (optional, but I've used the sour umeboshi ... I even finish it somehow ^ ^)

a pinch of salt to taste a pinch of pepper and cucumber

Peel garlic and chop finely (if you want you can pass them to the mixer but lose a lot of flavor)
Put the pulp obtained in a handkerchief and squeeze gently to remove excess water.
Put the mixture in a bowl, add yogurt, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar as well as the finely chopped mint leaves and stir to combine ingredients.
Fate riposare 10 minuti e servite.
Se vi avanza conservatela in frigo al massimo un giorno, e non servitela mai troppo fredda.

La signora che mi ha insegnato la ricetta aggiungeva anche le folglie di basilico e mi ha detto che si può variare la ricetta aggiungeno alcune olive nere ed un mezzo cipollotto al trito iniziale, ma fino ad oggi non ho mai provato varianti...

Questo pomeriggio sono riuscita a scappare via prima dal lavoro e ho sbrigato qualche commissione.

Sulla strada tra un impegno ed un altro mi sono imbattuta nella solita apicoltura che non ho mai trovato aperta da quando l'ho vista la prima volta e, miracolo, non era chiusa!

L'allevamento è piccolo e molto spazioso e curato, hanno anche qualche gallina per cui vendono anche uova fresche e "sicure".

Trattano anche poca cosmesi e qualche composta o moarmellata.

Ho preso due tipi di miele e un barattolino di marmellata alle more, vi farò sapere come sono!

In tutto l'allevamento, prodotti compresi, non ho visto nemmeno una dicitura "biologico" e quindi mi chiedo...il fatto che un'apicoltura venda i suoi prodotti in maniera diretta, ci assicura la naturalezza del prodotto o ci fa semplicemente saltare un passaggio nella grande catena del mercato?

No, un thè caldo con due frollini tanto per gradire perchè già tremo al pensiero del pranzo di domani!
Fortunatamente si va al ristorante, quindi sarò ben libera di scegliere piatti senza carne, ma sarà dura resistere al consueto antipasto "tagliere di salumi tipisci assortiti" che sicuramente verrà ordinato.
Oh bè, io ce la metterò tutta^^

Avendo lavorato solo questa mattina, pomeriggio siamo andati a fare la spesa, ed ho scoperto, con grande disappunto, che nella nostra area is not NO party for the Easter weekend, in fact they were all the store!

Io lo trovo conveniente, intelligente ed ecologico!
